Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients

8 Tbsp. butter

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

3/4 cup firmly-packed brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1-1/2 cups dark or semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or a Silpat mat. Place butter in a microwave-safe container. Heat on 50% power for one minute. Repeat, until melted. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. With an electric mixer, beat cooled butter with peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg and egg yolk.
